Summary
Skylar Tirnov is found hung in his chi chi LA night club
with a wad of money and a huge diamond in his pocket. Detective Marcello Prado
and former CSI Connie Cane work with the CIA and foreign services to follow
clues that take them through Alaska and eastern Russia where they encounter the
Russian mob. A trail of contraband
diamond and gold leads back to the US.
Operating covertly puts them and the team of experts at
risk. No one can be trusted. Plagued by false identities, shootouts, betrayal,
international incidents, kidnapping and stranded in a snow storm, Marcello and
